The Town of Salem 275th Anniversary Commission, Field of Dreams, Inc., the New Hampshire Sons of the American Revolution, and the American Friends of Lafayette invite you
to join us for General Lafayette’s arrival in Salem 200 years to the day of his June 21, 1825 visit.

The program will include:

• Arrival of General Lafayette by horse-drawn carriage, escorted by the New Hampshire SAR
• Welcome remarks by Alan Hoffman, President of the American Friends of Lafayette
• A re-enactment of the speech welcoming Lafayette and Lafayette’s reply
• Lafayette addresses the citizens of Salem
• Lafayette mingles with the citizenry and is available for photo opportunities
• Refreshments provided by the Salem Area Women’s Club
