Field of Dreams Community
Park and Playground

The Field of Dreams is a community park and playground located on Geremonty Drive in Salem, NH. It has been a dream come true for the many volunteers who made this park possible. There is a playground with a dedicated toddler area, as well as areas for older children. Other features of the park include a fitness trail, hiking trails, a stage for performances and picnic areas for families to enjoy the nice weather and the park. There is also a newly-reconstructed volleyball court.

A New Pavilion for the Field of Dreams

Our 30th Anniversary has passed, and we continue to work on our capital campaign to replace the current stage with a new pavilion.

Some of the concerns/issues with current stage:

Lacks overhead roofing element
Unable to support a roof covering
Performers' equipment at risk due to inclement weather
Concerts canceled due to a chance of rain
Is not handicap-accessible

A new pavilion would resolve these issues and more.

The pavilion would have at least a 50-year sustainability.
There will be handicap ramps installed.
There will be a roof and the lighting will be included in the install.

We are working with the community to keep the costs as low as possible - using donated services and materials We are working with a local architect (RWH Architect) who is donating all of his time. To date, we have raised almost 75% of the expected costs. We will achieve our fund-raising goals through donations, grants and a sponsorship program.
