20th Anniversary Celebration
The Field of Dreams Park & Playground held its grand opening on July 19, 1992. We are now working the plans for the 20th Anniversary Celebration, which is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, 2012. There will be activities for the whole family. Details are below.

Rededication Ceremony

There will be a ribbon-cutting for the rededication of the park at 1:00 PM with the Greater Salem Chamber and distinguished guests in attendance.
Thursday is also a regular Summer Concert night and the entertainment will be provided by George & Co.
We will also have an Anniversary Sheet Cake

All concerts begin at 6:30 PM and are FREE to the public. A 50-50 Raffle is held at each concert, with the proceeds targeted for the maintenance of the park and playground. Bring your blanket or chairs and enjoy the music!

United States Air Force Colonial Brass Concert

The USAF Band of Liberty’s Brass Ensemble, “Colonial Brass” will be playing for our community beginning at 3:00 PM
This concert is free to the public
A Memorial Bench Dedication Ceremony held by the Salem Exchange Club will begin at 2:00 PM
This ceremony is to honor Thomas O. Morrow, who was instrumental in the success of the Field of Dreams

2012 Spring Clean-Up

Our annual Spring Clean-Up was a huge success with wonderful weather and lots of volunteers. We accomplished more this year than ever before and we greatly appreciated all of the efforts!

8:30 AM until 12:30 PM
Refreshments are provided in the morning, water is provided throughout the day and lunch is available at the end
Bring your gloves, rakes, tarps, friends and families.
